The fanatic is incorruptible: if he kills for an idea, he can just as well get himself killed for one; in either case, tyrant or martyr, he is a monster.

Broken people don’t hide from their monsters. Broken people let themselves be eaten.
On behalf of the coordinators of XXII Colloquium of Modern Languages Department, we want to thank you for helping to make this year’s colloquium a success. The event ran smoothly, visitors stayed for extended periods of time and seemed to enjoy themselves, evaluations from teachers had many good comments, and overall the days were a success. MLD colloquium is a huge event and it wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of countless people who help prepare ahead of time, work during the event itself, and clean up afterwards.
Interim President Karrin Wilks, Acting Provost Erwin Wong, Dean James Berg, Dean Janice Zummo, Chair Maria Enrico, Ena Jordan, Lisa White, Media Center Staff, Carol Cleveland, Rokia Shearing, Mark Goodloe and Tribeca Staff, Reprographics Staff, Office of Public Affairs Staff, Full Time, Part Time, Clt’s, and Staff from Modern Language Department, and Students, thank you for helping to make the XXII Colloquium of MLD possible! You did magic! You were magicians!
We heard many great things from visitors. During the day many people come up to compliment us on how smoothly the event ran or how successful it seemed.
We do look at your comments when wrapping up this year’s event and planning for next year. We are interested in hearing about things that went well and places we need to improve.
Your assistance was invaluable in helping our department get everything done in a very timely manner. Your expertise and enthusiasm were both appreciated during a time which can be stressful for all concerned!
We sincerely appreciate your efforts, and thank for sharing some of your schedule with the Modern Languages Department.
Thanks. Gracias. Merci. Grazie. 谢谢. Dzięki
